Palmar de Varela, Atlántico

Ubicado sobre la delta del Río Magdalena al oriente del Departamento del Atlántico, este municipio se caracteriza por la presencia de diversos cuerpos de agua, representados en las Ciénagas: Luisa, Larga, Manatí y Paraíso y ocupan una extensión de 16.90% del municipio. Muy cercano a la capital Barranquilla, este municipio tiene las fiestas patronales a San Juan Bautista, el 24 de junio o el Festival de la Guayaba en noviembre, donde la preparación de diversos productos derivados de la guayaba son los protagonistas.
